By placing an order through Inokim, you agree to the terms below. These policies are designed to ensure that you are fully informed about our refund and return methods and procedures. That applies to (USA) states.

Before initiating a return/ cancellation, we recommend contacting us to resolve any issues. Additionally, refer to our Tutorials, FAQs, and troubleshooting for information before consulting us.

Fees:

  • Order not yet dispatched to fulfillment center:
        • Cancellation: No fees apply
  • In-Stock Item Order not yet dispatched to fulfillment center:
        • Cancellation: No fees apply
  • In-Stock Item Order dispatched to Fulfillment Center:
      • Return: Restocking Fee ($45) + Return Shipping Fee (Depends on location and model, as specified below)

    Cancellations:

    • For address changes, ensure requests are made on the order date for processing updates before fulfillment.
    • Cancellations are accepted only if the order hasn't been sent to our 3rd party fulfillment centers (usually within 12 hours).
    • If a shipping label is assigned, it signifies a return.
    • To be eligible for a return, ensure your item is unused, with tags, in its original packaging, and include the receipt. 
    • Please inspect upon receipt and contact us promptly for any defects, damages, or wrong items

    Regardless, you'll be responsible for the applicable fees outlined below:

    To initiate a Cancellation Request, please contact our support team at support@inokim.com. Include the following information in your email:

    • Order Number

    • 'Return' or 'Exchange' in the subject line

    • Email address associated with the item you are canceling.

    After our team reviews your request (within 24 hours), we will send you an email update.

    Important Note: Cancellation requests are only accepted until the order is processed. While we'll do our best to stop shipment, we can't guarantee it. If successful, no return shipping fee applies. Otherwise, it's treated as a regular return. If your cancellation is approved, any applicable restocking fee will be deducted, and the refund will be credited back to your original payment method within 2-5 business days.

    Pre-Orders

    • Cancellations for pre-order purchases are accepted anytime before processing by fulfillment centers.
    • No fees apply, and a full refund is eligible for pre-order cancellations only.
    • Once processed, the order transitions to the return policy.
    • Efforts will be made to halt shipment, but we can't guarantee success. 
    • Successful halts incur no return shipping fee; otherwise, it's treated as a regular return.
    • Refer to the In-Transit section for more details on associated return shipping and restocking costs.

    Important Note: If you haven't received a tracking number, your order might still be on its way from our warehouse. Please check with the Inokim Team, and they'll update you on its status. Keep in mind there's a 12-hour delay.
    After processing the refund, the funds will be returned to your original payment method within 2-5 business days.

    In-Stock Orders and In-Transit Items

    • If the product you ordered is in stock, orders are processed within 24 hours. 

    • Once processed, the order falls under the return policy.

    • Review all information before purchasing to avoid additional fees

    • Once processed, orders are no longer considered a cancellation but fall under the return policy. 

    • Efforts made to stop shipment, but no guarantee; If successful, no return shipping fee is charged. 

    • If shipment cannot be stopped in time, it’s treated as a regular return. 

    • Prioritize due diligence and thorough information review to avoid these additional fees.

    Important Note: If you haven't received a tracking number, your order may have shipped with a 12-hour delay. Reach out to the Inokim Team for updates. If the scooter is at the 3rd party fulfillment center or already shipped, it's treated as a return with a $45 Restocking Fee + Return Shipping Fee. To exchange before shipment, it's a cancellation with the regular cancellation fee.

    You have a couple of options for returning a scooter:

    To initiate a return or exchange, please contact our support team at support@inokim.com. Include the following information in your email:

    • Order Number

    • 'Return' or 'Exchange' in the subject line

    • Email address associated with your order

    Please attach photos of the scooter and odometer reading. If you are located in Miami, you have the option to drop off your return or exchange in person at our warehouse. If not, you will need to ship your item back to us.

    Refusing Shipment

    If you requested a return but the scooter already shipped before cancellation, we'll try to stop it. If unsuccessful, you can refuse delivery, and it'll be treated as a return. Your eligible refund will be the Scooter price minus the Restocking Fee and Return Shipping Fee.

    Unused Scooter to be Exchanged or Returned:

    If the scooter is unused, in its original box, and within the 14-day window, start a return or exchange by emailing support@inokim.com. For exchanges, cover the shipping fee for the return, and eligible items get a free replacement. Exchanging before shipment is like canceling and may have fees.

    You can get a return label in two ways: buy one yourself or have our team get it for you (you pay for it). If the scooter is ridden, you cover return shipping, and it's not returnable. If there's damage upon arrival at our warehouse, you cover repair costs and return shipping, and the scooter isn't returnable.

    Return of a used scooter
    Used products are not eligible for return.
    If, upon inspection, it is determined that the scooter has been ridden, you will be accountable for the cost of return shipping and the item will not be eligible for return.

    Refund Process
    After inspection, we will deduct the applicable return shipping fees and a restocking fee from your refund. The remaining balance will be credited back to your original payment method within 2-5 business days.

    Once the product is returned, received, and inspected by our service team, your new item will be shipped out as part of the exchange process.

    If the scooter has been ridden, you are responsible for return shipping, and it cannot be returned. In case of damage upon arrival at our warehouse, you are responsible for repair costs and return shipping. The scooter is not eligible for return.
